David Evans Jr.

David went to a world free of pain and limited mobility on October 5, 2023. He was born on August 11, 1952 in Buckley WV. to David Evans Sr. and Naomi Pauley Evans. He graduated from Niles McKinley HS in 1970 and Joined the United States Air Force. Upon his discharge he resided in Niles Oh. for many years where his love of music permitted him to play base guitar for several bands most notably Sweet Surrender, Southern Comfort, Mule Benson and Azure Daddies.

He loved life and had many hobbies such as RC Racing and fishing. He was most proud of the years he participated in his son's swim team as coach and touched many young lives in the Cleveland area where he was known as coach Dave. 

He is survived by his wife of 41 years Sandra Gerrick Evans, son Sean  Evans, brother Chuck (Jill) Evans, sister Debbie Cross (Wayne) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
