Julio Martinez Sr.

Julio Martinez Sr was born February 7, 1958, in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Son of Marcelo Martinez Burgado and Julia Delgado Reyes, raised by Zoilo DeLeon Masa and Serafina Reyes Roldan . Dear brother of sisters Wanda Ivette DeLeon and Maria Socorro DeLeon. Devoted husband of Easter Martinez since 1997. Loving father of Hidarmis (Heidy) and son-in-law (Carlos Javier Guerra), Julio Jr., Angela Celese, and  Antoine. Adoring Grandfather of Tatyana, Isaias, Nathaniel, Jazmin, Camaly, Ailani, Kalani, Kaileah, Kyreon, Aaron, Noah Javier , Angela Celese Jr and Sionely Passionate great grandfather of Analia, Johniel Javier , Ezari Javier , Journee, and Jailynn.

Julio adored his grandkids so much. He was such a giving person. Julio was baptized in July of 1982 as a Jehovah’s Witness . He served as a ministerial servant, and he was devoted to serving Jehovah, teaching others about Jehovah’s promise here on earth.  He enjoyed taking out the group on field service even the day before he passed away.

He loved sports and enjoyed playing baseball, he love Music, his favorite was Al Green, and El Gran Combo (salsa).

He also was Mr. Fix it. He thought he could fix anything.  Julio will  truly be missed.

At age 66, Julio said farewell to his relatives and loved ones in the hope of seeing them again in a New World. 

 Services will be held on June 1, 2024 at the The Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses, 21801 Euclid Ave at 12 pm.  Following the services a luncheon will be held at the Executive Event Center, 27801 Euclid Ave, lower level at the Pearl Room.  Parking is on the lower level.
