Nina Jean Jones

Nina Jean Jones (Edwards), Age 70, passed away on April 4, 2025.

She is survived by her daughters Katherine R. Jones (Ryan), Victoria A. Jones, and Alexandra M. Jones (Gina); grandson King J. Jones; siblings Linda Forester, Nancy Schumacher, & John Palos; dear friends Betty Olenick and Mary Hurla, and many nieces and nephews.

Nina is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, Tommy J. Jones; her parents, Leonard Edwards and Weltha Marie Szucs (nee Bartley); and her siblings Barbara Said and David Palos.

Nina had a life-long passion and talent for sewing, crafts, and design.  She loved bright colors and bold patterns. She was a nature enthusiast and loved especially birds, butterflies, and gardening. Nina held several jobs throughout her life. Her last, and most rewarding, was serving as nanny to the Tepper family for over a decade. Nina will be remembered as a dreamer. Celebration of Life open house will be held on May 4, 2025, from 2-5pm in the parlor at the Rockport United Methodist Church, 3301 Wooster Rd. Rocky River, Ohio, 44116
